Performance Fasteners are pleased to announce the acquisition of an established fastener manufacturing company with over 30 years trading in the heart of Birmingham.
Hydro Stainless were initiated in the 1970’s. The company specialised in small batch production of Hexagon Screws progressing into Socket Screws and Turned Part Production now using exotic materials as well as stainless steels. The company was part of RPS Engineering who acquired Hydro Stainless 5 years ago but didn’t manage to achieve the growth patterns that were expected. The acquisition is a positive move forward for Performance Fasteners.
The members of staff bring with them their wealth of engineering knowledge as the machinery, tooling, materials and stock are moved from the old factory in Birmingham to newly refurbished premises in West Bromwich enhancing the manufacturing capacity of Performance Fasteners. The acquisition is another progression in Performance Fasteners dedication to customer service and we look forward to cementing existing and forging new relationships as we work in partnership with our customers. The transition from old to new has now taken place and all the plant and machinery is now in place.
